Crystal Major, NCCDP, MA

Executive Director

Crystal is a passionate Senior Living executive that’s a hands-on leader who values communication, collaboration and innovation.  She has over 20 years in the healthcare industry with a focus in senior living for the last 10 years.

Born and raised in Jacksonville FL (a true native) she graduated from Wolson High School and went on to receive her medical assistant degree and certification and dementia. When Crystal is not working she enjoys spending time with her family on outdoor adventures.

Ashley Robinson

Marketing Director

Ashley Robinson graduated from Florida State University in 1994 earning her Bachelor of Science degree.  She was born in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to New Smyrna Beach with her parents in 1975 where she grew up working in her father’s pharmacy on and off for 30 years.  Ashley has worked throughout her life in the healthcare field and came to us with 10 years spent working in Hospice in Volusia County.  Her positive attitude and compassion for her residents is one of the reasons she is such a great fit here at Palagio Senior Living.  As the Marketing Director she enjoys touring potential residents and her attention to detail makes the entire move in process seamless from beginning to end.  Ashley most recently got married and enjoys spending time with her husband, loves attending concerts, travelling and visiting her family.

Larisa Skripnikova

Director of Nursing

Larisa Skripnikova has a passion for senior care and after graduating from nursing school with honors, has spent more than a decade gaining experience in nursing by working in skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care. While working as a nurse, Larisa also earned an associate degree in Wound Care from WOCN and has experience as a wound care nurse.

Larisa loves helping people and taking care of their needs. Since moving to Florida, she has worked in assisted living and memory care first as a floor nurse, and then being promoted to Director of Nursing. She has successfully managed the nursing department in two different communities. Larisa is also a licensed Assisted Living Administrator. She loves to spend time with residents, listening to their amazing life stories, supporting their families, and leading the nursing team with passion and respect.

Larisa was born in Ukraine. She moved to the United States with her family to find new opportunities. In her free time, she loves carving fruit, cooking, baking, fishing with her husband, and spending time with family. She has three grown sons and one daughter-in-law.

Jennifer Daniel

Life Enrichment Director

Jennifer Daniel is a former Marine who has discovered her true calling in enriching the lives of senior adults. Growing up in Michigan, she developed a strong sense of community and service. After her time in the Marine Corps, she moved from Georgia to Florida, seeking new opportunities to make a difference. Starting her journey as a maintenance assistant and housekeeper, she gradually transitioned into the realm of life enrichment. With a background in service and dedication, she brings a unique perspective to her work, aiming to bring joy and fulfillment to the lives of the elderly. Beyond her professional endeavors, Jennifer finds solace in the open road, riding her Harley, and finds fulfillment tending to her yard. She also has a creative side, loves crafting and giving old furniture new life. Family holds a special place in her heart, and she cherishes spending time with her partner, children and granddaughter, creating lasting memories and sharing valuable life experiences. She brings a wealth of experiences and a genuine sense of compassion to her work with senior adults.

Connie Vokoun

Business Office Director

Connie Vokoun is a Florida born and raised! Growing up in Middleburg on a farm in Black Creek, Connie has always been familiar with the area. As the youngest of 12 siblings, Connie’s dedication to family started at a young age. After graduating from Orange Park Senior High School, she moved to Fleming Island and started her 35+ year professional career in the Hospitality Industry. Later, in 2009, Connie switched to the Healthcare Industry, which eventually lead her to Palagio Senior Living.

When Connie isn’t in the office she is spending time with her daughter, Savannah, and 8 rescue animals (4 dogs and 4 cats). In addition, she adores the outdoors frequently gardening, fishing, boating, and swimming. We are so grateful to have Connie as our Business Office Director and a part of The Palagio Senior Living team.

Ronnie Kaleel

Director of Dining Services

Ronnie comes to Palagio Senior Living with 30 years of experience in the senior living dining services world. He began his career in long term care communities and has continued to work in senior living ever since.  His Aunt Mary has always been one of the most special people in his life, so this environment proved to be the place that Ronnie could really make a difference for many others.  He quickly realized the joy he could bring with food from the heart and the connection to each individual resident. Ronnie’s passion for cooking helps create dining programs that focus on quality and resident satisfaction. Throughout his career he has gained the knowledge while learning best practices to help create dining programs that focus on what is most important.  Ronnie enjoys spending time with his 3 amazing children & 3 beautiful grandchildren.

Roger Hart

Maintenance Director

Roger Hart is a seasoned professional in the area of plant operation with many years of experience in both senior living and new construction. His passion is working with senior adults and he prides himself on maintaining the community that the residents can proudly call home. 

Roger has called Jacksonville his home base for 50 years, though growing up in a Navy family, he travelled extensively with his family during his youth. His experiences living among other cultures, especially his time living in Iran, make him very pleased to be living in the USA.

Roger has raised two wonderful sons over the years and enjoys his extended family who live in the area as well. On his time off, he spends time fishing, camping, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and with his dog, Bella.
