Kimberly Dombrowski

Executive Director

Kim returned to the senior living industry about 6 years ago after having spent the previous 10 years working as a Program Manager in the defense and aerospace industry. Kim began her career straight out of college in senior living after having grown up in the industry where she discovered her love of serving seniors.
Kim and her husband Mitch have been married for 15 years and have 5 children between them; Hank, James, Nikki, Emma and Ethan. She is a voracious reader, enjoys crafting, spending time with friends and family and traveling to new places.

Kim has a passion for serving others and is looking forward to supporting Palagio residents, families, associates and community partners in her new role.

Larisa Skripnikova

Director of Nursing

Larisa Skripnikova has a passion for senior care and after graduating from nursing school with honors, has spent more than a decade gaining experience in nursing by working in skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care. While working as a nurse, Larisa also earned an associate degree in Wound Care from WOCN and has experience as a wound care nurse.

Larisa loves helping people and taking care of their needs. Since moving to Florida, she has worked in assisted living and memory care first as a floor nurse, and then being promoted to Director of Nursing. She has successfully managed the nursing department in two different communities. Larisa is also a licensed Assisted Living Administrator. She loves to spend time with residents, listening to their amazing life stories, supporting their families, and leading the nursing team with passion and respect.

Larisa was born in Ukraine. She moved to the United States with her family to find new opportunities. In her free time, she loves carving fruit, cooking, baking, fishing with her husband, and spending time with family. She has three grown sons and one daughter-in-law.

Amanda Darga, CMDCP

Marketing Director

Amanda is thrilled to service the future residents of Palagio Senior Living. She is a proud leader and advocate for seniors and thoroughly enjoys helping families navigate the search for quality care.  

Amanda is originally from Michigan, where she earned her degree in Business from Northern Michigan University. Shortly after, she moved to Florida and began her career in senior living. Her passion to serve seniors led her to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional. 

Her greatest reward comes from creating personal connections with each of her residents. She finds the stories and life lessons they share a true testament of life’s journey.

Connie Vokoun

Business Office Director

Connie Vokoun is a Florida born and raised! Growing up in Middleburg on a farm in Black Creek, Connie has always been familiar with the area. As the youngest of 12 siblings, Connie’s dedication to family started at a young age. After graduating from Orange Park Senior High School, she moved to Fleming Island and started her 35+ year professional career in the Hospitality Industry. Later, in 2009, Connie switched to the Healthcare Industry, which eventually lead her to Palagio Senior Living.

When Connie isn’t in the office she is spending time with her daughter, Savannah, and 8 rescue animals (4 dogs and 4 cats). In addition, she adores the outdoors frequently gardening, fishing, boating, and swimming. We are so grateful to have Connie as our Business Office Director and a part of The Palagio Senior Living team.

Sandy Bernard

Dining Director

Sandy comes with phenomenal experience in hospitality and assisted living. She is recognized for her eye for quality of food choices and delicious multi layered flavor combos but is also famous for her incredible meatloaf! She can do it all and enjoys hearing from her residents about new recipe ideas.

You won’t have to choose between flavor and nutrition since she combines both into the dishes along with her attention to detail in food presentation.

Sandy hails from Western Massachusetts originally. She is a huge fan of the Boston Redsox and Bruins but locally she loves to attend the Jacksonville Iceman Hockey. She also enjoys attending concerts in a variety of genres.  You may have seen her at the Jacksonville Symphony as well.

We know having her on Team Palagio is music to our ears!

Yazmine Resto

Life Enrichment Director

Yazmine Resto has called Orange Park ‘home’ her whole life as she was born and raised in the heart of our community. After graduating Orange Park High School, Yazmine wanted to remain in the area to stay close to her family. Initially joining our team as a Care Partner, her passion for helping others and working with seniors quickly flourished. Now she is an integral part of our team as our Life Enrichment Director. As a part time make-up artist, Yazmine incorporates her love for creativity into our residents daily activities!

Yazmine is the perfect addition to our team, as family is at the center of everything she does. When she isn’t in the community you can find her with her cat, Daisy, or with her family. We are so happy to have Yazmine as a part of The Palagio Senior Living team!

Roger Hart

Maintenance Director

Roger Hart is a seasoned professional in the area of plant operation with many years of experience in both senior living and new construction. His passion is working with senior adults and he prides himself on maintaining the community that the residents can proudly call home. 

Roger has called Jacksonville his home base for 50 years, though growing up in a Navy family, he travelled extensively with his family during his youth. His experiences living among other cultures, especially his time living in Iran, make him very pleased to be living in the USA.

Roger has raised two wonderful sons over the years and enjoys his extended family who live in the area as well. On his time off, he spends time fishing, camping, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and with his dog, Bella.
